ArkanPaws is a volunteer-run rescue. We pull dogs and cats out of hard starts down south, get them healthy, and personally drive them north to the families waiting for them.

For many of the animals we rescue, there’s a 1,400-mile drive between a hard start and a soft place to land. We make it, one dog and one cat at a time.
A network of fosters, a few reliable cars, and a standing promise to show up for the ones nobody else will.
Dogs and cats, one at a time. Here’s what every rescue runs through before it gets its happy ending.
File 01 · IntakeStrays, owner surrenders, and whole litters, pulled from overcrowded shelters and roadsides across Arkansas before they run out of time.
File 02 · RecoveryVaccines, spay and neuter, treatment, and a warm foster bed, for as long as it takes to be ready.
File 03 · TransportEvery adoption is hand-delivered. We personally transport each dog and cat to screened adopters waiting across New England.
File 04 · Next upThere’s always another litter, another stray, another good dog or cat who needs help. The care and cycle continues, because the need does.
Vet bills, food, gas money, crates to clean. This is the unglamorous middle of rescue, and it’s most of the work. Your support is what keeps it moving.
Every one of these was rescued, cared for, and found a family of their own. Plenty of others just like them are still waiting for theirs.
